Graham and Julia Bailey’s Aimee has won the first race, finishing roughly 30 seconds ahead of Lawrie Smith. The two leaders passed through the final leeward gate only two seconds apart, with the Baileys taking the favoured right hand and subsequently controlling the final beat.
