Sadly the new breeze that we hoped would roll down the estuary towards us has instead evaporated. At the moment there is barely a breath of wind anywhere in the area and so the committee and competitors are once again sitting and waiting. Fortunately it is a little cooler today, but its none the less hugely frustrating for everyone.
As you can see from our photo (taken from the club balcony looking toward the race area) we have steely grey skies and lots of haze and only a few very light zephyrs of wind on the water. We desperately need one more race to validate the series so please help us by adding crossed toes and ritual sacrifices to the prayers and crossed fingers we asked for earlier!
